(NYSE: BSI) ("Company") announced that, following the approval by the Company's shareholders at the general meeting held on June 28, 2010 and approval by the Israeli Registrar of Companies, the name of the Company has been changed to "Alon Holdings Blue Square - Israel Ltd." It is anticipated that the name change will be effected on the records of the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, July 16, 2010. The Company's ticker symbol will not change.
